CooperVision’s Joe Tanner, head of professional affairs ANZ, and Tacy Song, head of professional affairs and myopia management APAC, were recently awarded fellows of the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) at a ceremony in Birmingham.
Congratulating its new fellows, BCLA said they now join a growing global network of eyecare professionals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and contribution to the field, earning the right to use the prestigious FBCLA post-nominals.
Song’s and Tanner’s fellowships are a well-deserved recognition, CooperVision said. “Your passion for clinical leadership and dedication to elevating eyecare across the region continue to inspire. Well done Tracy and Joe!”
Launched in 2006, the BCLA fellowship scheme recognises contributions and commitments in the field of contact lenses and/or the anterior eye. Since its inception, over 200 professionals from the international community of contact lens practice, academia and industry have become BCLA fellows.
